After the Upanayana, the student\\\\\\\'s educational life began. To get education, the student had to go to the Acharya\\\\\\\'s house. The disciple had to study the Vedas by observing Brahmacharya in the Guru\\\\\\\'s house. During the education in the Guru\\\\\\\'s house, the life of the disciples was full of strict discipline. The students lived in the same house as the members of the Guru\\\\\\\'s family. No money was required for education. The students had to collect alms from the villages surrounding the Guru\\\\\\\'s house. Usually, they studied in the Guru\\\\\\\'s house for twelve years. The students were under the command and obedience of the Acharya. They had to serve the Acharya, collect the wood of the Guru\\\\\\\'s house, graze the cows, beg, observe Brahmacharya, etc. with devotion.
